Business Plan Competition Judging
The judging and evaluation of our Business Plan Competition began at 2:30 today. The president of the Rotary Club of El Progreso, Oscar Hawit Garcia joined Banco Ficensa staff members, the El Progreso Chamber of Commerce and successful local entrepreneurs in evaluating the business plans of community members within Villa Soleada and Las Brisas de Libertad. Our participants worked very hard in the classroom during the weeks leading up to this competition, and their hard work is paying off. The first and second place winner are going to receive grants of up to 10,000 and 6,000 lempiras, respectively. We’ll keep you updated on the results as they come in.
