Are we helping our clients move out of poverty?
We currently use the “Honduras Progress out of Poverty Index” (PPI) created by the Grameen Foundation. It is a 10 question survey that can provide a standardized long-term evaluation of our client base’s poverty level. With the PPI, we can conduct quantitative analyses to categorize household income levels into groups that are consistent with national and international evaluative standards.
We currently work in three communities and have calculated PPIs for clients in each community since 2010.
